does anyone know the ohio state laws of adopting an agressive rescue dog?
my dog was recently attacked by a rescue dog. who was know to be agressive and attack other dogs but yet its owner took it on a walk threw my residential neighborhood.
When it saw me and my friend it attacked my dog, his 10 week old pup and my friend. Isnt there a law about adoption known agressive dogs? Or some type of process there of?

The Ohio Court System has deemed the State's Aggressive Dog Law to be constitutional as of March of last year.
As reference: http://www.sconet.state.oh.us/rod/newpdf/6/2006/2006-ohio-975.pdf
If a dog had a history of aggression, I can't imagine with this law on the books that it would still be in the hands of its irresponsible owner. The buck stops with the owner.
Ownership protects dogs from confiscation without cause AND allows dog owners to seek compensation from those who harm their pets. That's what you should be pursing — compensation from the owner of the dog that attacked your dog, your friend and his 10 week old pup. Perhaps if hit in the pocketbook, this person would become a better dog owner.
