Dog Care Tips : How to Remove a Tick From a Dog's Ear
Remove a tick from a dog's ear by grabbing the tick close to the skin with tweezers and applying firm pressure to pull the tick out. what breeds get ticks most? or is it like, more fur on the dog, more fleas/ticks? ty.
i just use a match. light the match, let it burn for a sec, blow it out, keep blowing on it tell u get a lil ember going, tap the ember on the ticks butt and it will pull itself out head and all.
depends where you walk your dog thats all
my dog is filled with ticks.
i remove at least 100 everyday.
no matter what i do they keep coming.
even a flee collar ain't working.

the doc recommended a spray called "freedom"
it worked well atleast he does'nt have as many ticks anymore.

Ticks are nasty. Seen dogs covered with them. Especially around the ears and in the ears. Sad sight.

try "freedom" spray it worked on mine.
Just found one on my dog and i basicly did all the wrong things. Tried to burn it with a red hot pin and match, squeazed the body, etc.
Hope that bastard wasn't carrying deseases…
omfg.. i tried to do this on my dog and the tick exploded and blood got im my mouth..

@tapo1800 really? u lie. i had to remove 2 outta my dog's ears and my god 3 peopkle had to hold her down. i just had to soak a q-tip with diluted tick solution and rub the tick and wait until it detached then stick my finger in there and get them out the bastards
thats what i did with my dog!
my dog has a lot of ticks around the eyes and I'm afraid not to harm him by removing those things.Should I take him to the vet?or is there any medicine that could help him?please help me!
