Remove a tick from a dog's ear by grabbing the tick close to the skin with tweezers and applying firm pressure to pull the tick out. i just use a match. light the match, let it burn for a sec, blow it out, keep blowing on it tell u get a lil ember going, tap the ember on the ticks butt and it will pull itself out head and all.

he's fine now.
the doc recommended a spray called "freedom"
it worked well atleast he does'nt have as many ticks anymore.

Just found one on my dog and i basicly did all the wrong things. Tried to burn it with a red hot pin and match, squeazed the body, etc.

Hope that bastard wasn't carrying deseases…

@tapo1800 really? u lie. i had to remove 2 outta my dog's ears and my god 3 peopkle had to hold her down. i just had to soak a q-tip with diluted tick solution and rub the tick and wait until it detached then stick my finger in there and get them out the bastards

my dog has a lot of ticks around the eyes and I'm afraid not to harm him by removing those things.Should I take him to the vet?or is there any medicine that could help him?please help me!
