my family has a 2 yr old golden retriver and my mom and dad may give me a little dog for my 17th birthday but, our dog is slightly dog agressive so this dog needs to not be agressive, any advice will be most appreciated =] thank you !!

i have a chocolate lab and he is the sweetest dog ever. mabey a little too sweet. he isn't aggressive in any way. and (yes i no that that is a characteristic of labs) but i dont live in the best of neighborhoods and if anything were to happen im not shure he would protect me. any tips on hew to make him a little bit more agressive and catious of people

i have a 2 year old chihuahua she is a little agressive to dogs but off leash and in the house and backyard she is fine she just follow them around. Any small dog and it could be a mix or anything

He'll be a year old on the 27th of this month. He's an Australian shepherd, he HATES children, anyone under, say, 9, and he doesn't like anyone else except for people who come around to our house on a regular basis. He's not dog agressive, though.
As a matter of fact I don't even know WHY he's agressive. We got him at 9wks, and he's been around people since the day he was born. Any ideas?
