The litterbox is in my roommates closet, and he sneaks in there and comes out with nasty breath. We try to watch him, but we can't do it 24/7. I live in an apartment, so I hate shutting him in my small room. A litterbox with a lid won't keep him away. And the cat is the same size as him, so I can't leave just enough room for the cat to get in and not him. Any punishments or anything I can do to get him to STOP?! (I will not hit him.)

Any tips on how to get him to use a litterbox? I live in an apartment, so hes an indoor dog.
HELLO, im not a lazy owner! I love my dog and would never do anything to mistreat him. I work all day, and got o school at nights. Taking him for a walk is hard to to all day. I walk him twice a day. But of course, dogs poop more than that.

My 20 month old cat has started some new behaviors. Whenever he can tell that you're about to go out the door he gets in front of you and makes it almost impossible for you to get out without him bolting out, it's even worse when you're coming home and trying to get inside. He's scratch at the door and cry really loud at it as well, wanting to get out. ( He normally isn't a talker or cryer.) He used to like windows but now he's obsessed with ALWAYS sitting and wathcing. This is all NEW behavior within the last couple of weeks, what could be causing it and how may I correct it? He's an INDOOR only cat and we live in an apartment complex and need to keep it that way. I don't understand where his urge is coming from, we have two other cats and they've never and still are not demonstrating behavior like this.
He does not miss us because he does it while we're home and he is neutured.

I have had my cat for 14 years, he's still healthy and running around… well I had him litter box trained for the first 4 years. Then he just started going outside and using the restroom. The only problem is that I'm moving from a house in the country to an apartment in the city. I'm afraid to let him out to roam around… I won't be moving for about another 2-3 months. Is there anyway I can possible re-train him in the litterbox?

My wife and I are thinking about adopting a dog, but I am not sure how the process works. We are kind of iffy about whether our apartment complex allows pets. There are people that have them and there is a part in our lease that says that we can't have pets, but there is also a pet addendum that says that we can. How does the adoption process work? Does the shelter try to contact my apartment complex to confirm information or what?
