Why does my cat poop in the bathroom sink and not the litterbox?
I have a female cat that is 5 years old and recently she poops in my bathroom sink. She is litterbox trained and I have had no previous potty issues with her before. The litterbox is also cleaned quite often. She does share it with a male cat, however; but am not sure if that is the problem or not. Is it common for a cat to look for another place to do their business? Any advice would be super, thanks!

try getting another litter box and putting it in a different area or in the room where the sink is. i have a cat that does this sometimes and i also catch her peeing down the drain hole in the sink.
